2006年12月6日，以Li-Choy Chong教授为团长的瑞士圣加仑大学一行25人到访浙江大学城市学院商学院，与商学院的师生进行了有关民营经济和创业教育的学术交流。我在会上介绍创业班。

1.the entrepreneurship education in Zhejiang University City College

It’s my honor to introduce the entrepreneurship  education in our college.

Zhejiang university city college is an emerging college. The characteristics of our students are active, creative, and innovative .

2. entrepreneurship class

So we established an entrepreneurship class in 2004,9（two thousand and four, September）.

We select 30~40 students from all the students in our college every year, and they come from various majors, such as engineering, medicine, journalism , economics ,and so on.

Among these students, some have strong impulsion  to carve out their own businesses; the others have family businesses and they will be the successor in the future. As you know, there are more than 300 thousand family businesses in our province.

This is the logo of entrepreneurship class.

3. entrepreneurship

People who want to build their firms need capital, guanxi,  knowledge, skill, spirit……But we think the most important thing is spirit, namely entrepreneurship.

Our explanations of the entrepreneurship are initiative , perseverance ,  responsibility dedication. They are the soul of our class.

Some tutors are arranged for the class, but they are mainly self-disciplined and self-managed.

4. the focus of media

The class has been the focus of medias since its inception .

Great attention is paid to the class by a variety of    newspapers and magazines such as Guangming Daily, Jiefang Daily（the key official newspaper of Chinese Communist Party）, Takungpao(a newspaper in Hongkong), China economy…….

5．lecture

The duration is one year—two semesters. During their study some specific and professional training courses  will be focused on.

The other two are the CEO of large company

6.Military training

We know, in America, a lot of superexcellent managers come from the west point（a Military Academy）. Why? Military training can equip the man for their future job. Therefore, all students are required to participate in the training, which is beneficial  to the development of will power and perseverance for the students.

In Switzerland , every citizen is a soldier.

8．business simulation

Students are divided into several groups, playing different roles of CEO, CFO, CMO, COO.  In a competitive  environment, they run the virtual firms built on sand tables for several years. Finally, we will rank the scores according to the Equity  and other factors.

9．business operation

Students are divided into several groups, each has a business such as leisure bar, bookshop, online shop, secondhand market, magazine……. Each program is financed by business school and the participants, set up and managed by the students. Each program is regarded as a real firm.

2007年12月5日上午， 由Li－Choy Chong教授带领的瑞士大学生交流团来访浙大城市学院，交流团学生主要来自瑞士圣加仑大学，也有一些瑞士国内其他高校的学生。交流团此行的主要目的是和城市学院商学院创业班、双联班的师生一起探讨了“中国的创业活动”。

我在会上发言，虽然英语口语水平有限，但也算顺利完成了任务呵呵~
